MEN'S CLASSIC BODYBUILDING

Men's Classic Bodybuilding is similar to Men's Bodybuilding but with certain limitations regarding the allowed bodyweight (muscle mass).

Men's Classic Bodybuilding is considered as a new discipline in response to the increasing demand for competitions for men who prefer, unlike bodybuilders, to develop a less muscular, yet athletic and aesthetically pleasing physique. In Men's Classic Bodybuilding the emphasis is placed on a muscular athletic-looking physique, assessed by comparisons of four quarter turns, 5 compulsory poses designed for physiques with less muscular body-mass compared to bodybuilders and athletic ability, assessed during a bodybuilder like routine.

The general idea of the concept - bodyweight limitation - is applied to all participants, who have been divided into three height categories:

For Athletes up to 170cm

Maximum bodyweight (kg) = body height (cm) -100 +2

For Athletes over 170cm up to 178cm

Maximum bodyweight (kg) = body height (cm) -100 +4

For Athletes over 178cm

Maximum bodyweight (kg) = body height (cm) -100 +6

Men's Classic Bodybuilding consists of three rounds

Round 1:

Compulsory Poses performed simultaneously

Round 2:

strong> Round 3:

There are 5 compulsory poses (compared to 7 in body-building):
